At the start of the pandemic period, Chanya McClory, Anthony Varney, and his brother were together with Leo and his sister at the Srichanphen Hotel for a fourteen-day quarantine. While being monitored by Mr. Wit, the hotel manager, they begin their process of staying, only to be soon disturbed by absurd disappearances around the hotel that not only do they fail to see but also do not leave anything behind. The group finally begins to comprehend the predicament, and at the same time realize the risk of being stranded there for long. All the guests start to believe that one of the guests was possessed by a mystic like centipede like old beast, and that it needed more than one host to thrive and survive and that turn them into slaves. Now everyone is trying to figure out how to be able to stop the beast for good.
On its own, “Creepy Crawly” was quite entertaining on the whole and had plenty of positives. This has a lot to do with the plot which is written by Krileadmongkon and Wongjinda who direct the film at a rather unique location and time frame. I like how everything begins right from the get-go with the dramatic irony of people having to be shoved into a hotel to be quarantined at and forced to follow the hotel’s guidelines even though the hotel looks like it hasn’t prepared for that sort of thing for the for quite while. And as the abilities of the body-hopping come into play, it was nice to see the many threats including the mystical centipede creature. One of the many beginnings of the setup is a part of folklores where the creature ‘s history began as the sort that can thrive in an environment where no one can be trusted simply because there are a pandemic protocols in practice, which is always great as an initial setup.
Additionally, “Creepy Crawly” also delves into creature features. The leveraging of the legend gives opportunities for enjoyment. The initial assaults are quite exaggerated, the possessed character aims to roam around hotel dark corridors and corner rooms waiting to seize their targets. This allows it to take full advantage of both surprise and its extended reach accompanied by the endowing of large tentacles. Since no one remembers anything nor is anything left to prove the investigation until later the patrons serve as excellent witnesses, this makes up for the amped up horrors since the patrons are kept in the dark ostensibly for anticipation. The fact that the creature can use possession to murder is a nice complement, considering that at least thousands of different creatures skitter over every conceivable surface and the character does not know which one to struggle with giving the final split a sense of dynamic rather than reflex and visual stimulation.

The character’s entrance is perfectly timed and unlike most movies, the main character leaves an impression almost right at the very beginning.
The issue with “Creepy Crawly” is big imbalance when Aisha star sending the idea of how this creature has been killing the staff and the guests with hopes of finding suitable candidates to host the epitome parasite instead, we get this utterly baffling tale about a blood type centipede’s immortal host who goes by use the name Fame. Various attempts at integrating other stories into flashbacks, its causation and how did that lead to the creature’s experimentation make sense assists in a few attempts but ultimately proves to be unreasoned and explanatory thus making the film look weak during this concluding segment. The much awaiting conclusion is the egregious pacing Pursuant to leaving it open to the inclusion of irrelevant affairs such as the hotel owner’s definite infidelity without meandering, runs the risk of killing one’s motivation. Hence, all these contributed towards the deterioration of this film.
“Creepy Crawly” is a movie that revolves around its creature feature aspects, however it suffers with its storyline shortcomings. Those who enjoy low-effort horror films or wish to experiment with them will relish in all that this film has to offer.
